Role Overview
Fresenius Medical Care is the world leader in kidney care, dedicated to improving lives of patients living with chronic kidney disease. As a Strategic Account Manager based in Cochin, you will play a pivotal role in driving therapy upgradation and adoption across your assigned territory while nurturing high-value customer relationships. This is a high-impact position within the Care Enablement segment, where your work directly contributes to better patient outcomes in dialysis care.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand business within assigned key accounts
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and introduce new products or services to drive revenue growth
- Create and manage detailed account plans through in-person visits and presentations, identifying opportunities and resolving challenges
- Build deep understanding of key accounts business goals and deliver tailored, value-driven solutions to meet their specific needs
- Identify, develop, and engage Key Opinion Leaders to advocate for therapy upgradation and adoption
- Provide clinical demonstrations, product training, and ongoing support to customers to promote best practices
- Collect and analyse market data to track trends, monitor competitive activity, and uncover new business opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Technical Service, Marketing, and Clinical teams to ensure seamless market delivery
- Analyse sales metrics and performance data to identify improvement areas and report progress regularly
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in key account management or strategic sales, preferably in the medical devices or healthcare industry
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills with a results-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Ability to understand clinical environments and provide product demonstrations or training
- Analytical thinking with capability to interpret sales data and market intelligence
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory

- Experience in key account management or strategic sales in healthcare or medical devices
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to conduct clinical product demonstrations and training
- Cross-functional collaboration with internal sales, marketing, and clinical teams
- Proficiency in sales data analysis and market intelligence
- KOL identification and stakeholder engagement experience
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Understanding of dialysis therapies or renal care is an added advantage
