Field Service Engineer Junior - Shimoga

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be an essential part of our Care Enablement team, ensuring that life-sustaining medical equipment operates at peak performance across client sites. This is a hands-on field role that combines technical expertise with strong customer relationship skills in the medical device industry. Key Responsibilities - Perform on-site installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and technical training for medical equipment at customer locations - Provide prompt and effective technical support to customers, building long-term positive relationships - Collaborate with the sales and dealer network by sharing technical insights to support business growth and identify new opportunities - Complete mandatory technical training programs and assessments to maintain a high standard of service delivery - Achieve service revenue targets through negotiation and closure of service contracts and spare parts sales - Manage billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable related to routine service activities - Maintain personal inventory of spare parts and tools with accurate stock management - Record all field activities thoroughly in Field Service Reports, CRM platforms, and other administrative systems as required - Execute tasks assigned by the Area Technical Manager in a timely and efficient manner Required Qualifications - Bachelor of Engineering or B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering - 2 to 3 years of experience working with a MedTech or medical device company - Prior experience handling medical equipment, preferably in the renal or dialysis sector - Good communication skills with the ability to solve technical problems independently - Basic proficiency in English to read and interpret technical manuals and service documentation - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory Why Join Us At Fresenius Medical Care, you will find a collaborative, purpose-driven culture that encourages innovative thinking and supports your individual career growth. - BE or B.Tech in Biomedical, Electronics, or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering - 2 to 3 years of experience in a MedTech or medical device company - Hands-on experience with medical equipment, preferably in the renal or dialysis industry - Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills - Basic English reading ability to interpret technical manuals - Familiarity with CRM software and field service reporting tools - Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
