1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CareerScan ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.
2. Use of the Platform
CareerScan is a job portal connecting job seekers and employers in India. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. You agree not to misuse the Platform, submit false information, or use it for any illegal purpose.
3. Job Seeker Accounts
Job seekers may register free accounts, upload resumes, and apply for jobs. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Your resume data is stored securely and only shared with employers when you apply.
4. Employer Accounts
Employers may post job listings subject to our review and approval. Job listings must be genuine, accurate, and comply with applicable Indian employment laws. We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates our policies.
5. Content & Accuracy
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit. CareerScan does not verify all employer listings and is not responsible for the accuracy of job postings. Always exercise due diligence before accepting a job offer.
6. AI Resume Tools
Our AI-powered resume checker and rewriter are provided as tools to assist candidates. Results are not guaranteed. We do not warrant that using these tools will result in employment. Resume data submitted to AI tools is processed securely.
7. Payments
Certain employer features require payment. All fees are listed on our Pricing page. Payments are non-refundable except within 7 days of purchase, at our discretion. We are not responsible for payment processing errors by third-party processors.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. We collect and use personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on CareerScan — including logos, design, and written content — is the property of CareerScan and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute our content without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
CareerScan is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of employment, income, or data. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
