Job Description

Role Overview Nissan Motor Corporation is looking for a skilled Assistant Manager to join its TCS NMIPL team in Chennai. This role is central to managing overseas market warranty support, dealer claim processing, and operational reporting for one of the world's leading automotive manufacturers. You will work across warranty systems, data analytics, and cross-regional communication to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution. Key Responsibilities - Provide second-level overseas market support by responding to line tickets and Warranty Support Platform mailbox queries within defined timelines - Analyse, validate, and process dealer queries and claims including Warranty, RSA, LRSA, and EV Battery claims with swift turnaround - Assess Paint and Corrosion claims and escalate high-cost warranty items monthly with proposed countermeasures such as pre-authorisation rules or technical bulletins - Allocate warranty claims to the responsible manufacturer or supplier and ensure accurate resolution - Validate and set up New Model Operation Codes in the warranty management system - Prepare and issue regular operational reports to local and regional stakeholders before agreed deadlines Required Qualifications - Diploma or BE in Mechanical, Automobile Engineering, or an equivalent discipline - 4 to 5 years of overall experience with a minimum of 3 years specifically in warranty operations - Solid understanding of dealer warranty processes and claim lifecycle management - Strong hands-on experience in data analytics and management presentation preparation - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and Macros - Excellent communication skills for coordinating with overseas dealers and regional teams - Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail Why Join Us Nissan Motor Corporation offers a dynamic work environment where you will contribute to global automotive operations and gain exposure to cross-regional warranty management. Requirements

- Diploma or BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering - 4 to 5 years of total experience - Minimum 3 years in warranty operations - Good understanding of dealer warranty processes - Experience in data analytics and solution generation - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Macros - Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities - Good written and verbal communication skills for overseas dealer interaction - Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities independently
