Job Description

Role Overview Niva Bupa Health Insurance, one of India's fastest-growing standalone health insurers, is looking for a dynamic and result-driven Senior Centre Head to lead its Institutional Sales telesales centre. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing end-to-end operations of an assigned telesales centre, driving revenue targets, and building a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will bring strong people management skills, a deep understanding of health insurance products, and a proven track record in telesales or bancassurance environments. Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily floor management of the telesales centre and ensure business outcomes are met consistently - Drive sales productivity metrics including number of policies, average ticket size, and lead conversion rates - Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Relationship Managers and authorised verifiers to achieve individual and collective targets - Coordinate training and quality initiatives for team members covering Niva Bupa products, sales processes, soft skills, and compliance guidelines - Handle critical customer escalations and facilitate timely resolution with an active, solution-oriented approach - Manage relationships with partner bank stakeholders and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and business alignment - Monitor and control policy cancellations and endorsements to maintain overall sales quality - Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance, and internal process guidelines across the centre Required Qualifications - Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline - Proven experience in telesales or outbound or inbound call centre environments with direct team handling responsibility - Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills - In-depth product knowledge of health insurance or general insurance offerings - Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships across partner banks and internal verticals - Proficiency in technology tools used in telesales operations - High customer focus with experience in managing escalations and driving satisfaction outcomes Why Join Us Niva Bupa is a certified Great Place to Work for three consecutive years and is on an ambitious growth trajectory targeting over 10,000 Crore GWP by 2027, offering exceptional career advancement opportunities. Requirements

- Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline - Experience in telesales or bancassurance with team management responsibilities - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills - Sound knowledge of health insurance products and processes - Ability to drive lead conversion and manage productivity KPIs - Problem-solving and customer-focused approach - Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in the insurance sector - Strategic mindset with execution excellence
