Role Overview
EZSpace Ventures is looking for a driven and client-focused Relationship Manager to lead business development and sales initiatives for Group Credit Life insurance in Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals who want to build a career in the insurance and financial services sector. You will work closely with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions to grow the credit life insurance portfolio and deliver outstanding client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue and business growth targets for Group Credit Life insurance within the assigned territory
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, potential clients such as banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions, and strategic partnerships to expand the portfolio
- Build and nurture strong long-term relationships with key institutional clients and negotiate agreements or contracts with partners
- Drive consistent achievement of sales targets and monitor the performance of ongoing credit life insurance schemes
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new group credit life schemes and timely policy processing while maintaining quality in claims handling and premium collection
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to continuously refine business strategies
- Prepare and present regular business reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, claims, finance, and marketing teams to streamline operations and improve customer experience
- Participate in product development discussions and contribute market feedback to support innovation
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies related to Group Credit Life insurance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field
- Understanding of credit life insurance, home loans, and financial products
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to meet and exceed targets
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional clients such as banks and NBFCs
- Familiarity with agency channel operations and claims handling processes
- Proficiency in analyzing business performance data and preparing reports
- Willingness to work collaboratively across departments
