Senior Lead Facilities Engineer

The Senior Lead Facilities Engineer will be a key member of the KLA Global Workplace Services team, responsible for managing and optimising workplace and manufacturing facility operations across multiple sites in India. This is a mid-senior level full-time opportunity based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, ideal for a seasoned facilities professional ready to make a strategic impact at a world-class technology organisation. Key Responsibilities - Oversee and manage a country-level network of facilities and workplace sites, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across all locations - Lead end-to-end real estate and facilities functions including strategic sourcing, lease transaction management, supply chain coordination, and facilities maintenance - Drive design, construction, and site improvement projects in alignment with business requirements and financial targets - Collaborate closely with senior business leaders to align facilities strategy with overall company goals and culture - Manage employee and site services including cafeteria, transportation, security, and safety operations - Apply data analysis and financial modelling to support informed decision-making and influence stakeholders - Travel up to 10 to 30 percent of the time to support site visits and project needs across the portfolio Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience - Demonstrated expertise in facilities management, real estate ecosystem, and project management within relevant or manufacturing environments - Strong knowledge of India and international commercial real estate markets, regulations, and lease processes from proposal through build - Proven ability to manage and lead teams while building effective partnerships with cross-functional business groups - Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior leadership - Proficiency in data organisation and financial analysis to drive strategic decisions Why Join Us KLA invests more than 15 percent of its revenue back into research and development, creating a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment where engineers solve some of the most complex challenges in the technology world.
