XR and Multimedia Production Manager

Role Overview KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics powering the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. We are looking for an experienced XR and Multimedia Production Manager to lead our creative production team in Chennai and drive the end-to-end execution of immersive media programs that align with our global marketing and product objectives. This is a mid-senior leadership role that combines strategic vision with hands-on production management across extended reality and multimedia content. Key Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a team of technical production specialists, building a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional growth - Own the complete lifecycle of XR programs from initial concept and planning through to final launch, ensuring alignment with business and product goals - Manage multimedia production budgets, allocate hardware and software resources efficiently, and oversee contracts with external vendors and freelance contractors - Serve as the primary point of contact between the media team and stakeholders across marketing, engineering, and executive leadership to ensure content supports broader campaign strategies - Identify and implement workflow improvements such as documentation of new production tools and management of digital asset libraries to boost team efficiency - Ensure all XR and multimedia content upholds brand standards, meets accessibility guidelines including WCAG and ADA compliance, and passes quality benchmarks before release - Conduct regular capacity planning meetings to forecast team workload, assess skill gaps, and prepare the department for future production demands Required Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of experience in multimedia or XR production with 1 to 3 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity - Proven track record of developing media and marketing strategies, including the integration of AI-driven tools to improve content production efficiency - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage complex stakeholder relationships and advocate for program requirements at all levels of the organisation - Deep understanding of emerging industry trends such as virtual production, 5G integration, and spatial storytelling to keep content innovative and future-ready - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline; a master's degree is an added advantage Why Join Us At KLA, we invest over 15 percent of our annual sales back into research and development because we believe innovation drives the future of electronics.
