Content Editor - Remote

Role Overview YO IT Consulting is hiring a Copywriting and Content Subject Matter Expert for a part-time, hourly remote contractor engagement. In this role, you will review and evaluate AI-generated marketing and content writing outputs, provide structured written feedback, and create gold-standard copy that helps train some of the world's most advanced AI models. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced content professionals to contribute directly to the improvement of frontier AI systems through a growing AI Data Services network. Key Responsibilities - Review AI-generated content outputs and assess them for accuracy, clarity, tone, brand alignment, and adherence to the original prompt - Identify weaknesses in logic, messaging, audience targeting, structure, compliance risk, and stylistic consistency - Create high-quality model outputs and detailed explanations demonstrating strong copywriting technique across formats such as landing pages, email campaigns, blog posts, ads, and long-form guides - Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on effectiveness, correctness, and reasoning quality - Fact-check content statements and flag hallucinated claims, bias, unsafe advice, or potential brand risk issues - Develop detailed prompts and gold-standard copy across multiple industries to guide AI learning and optimise model performance Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in copywriting, content writing, editorial work, content marketing, or brand storytelling - Strong command of brand voice, tone adaptation, and audience-aware writing for both B2B and B2C contexts - Demonstrated ability to evaluate and improve writing for clarity, structure, persuasion, headlines, CTAs, and narrative flow - Familiarity with content formats including landing pages, email campaigns, social media posts, product copy, scripts, and guides - Ability to provide specific, actionable written feedback and rewrites with clear rationale at a minimum C1 English proficiency level - Prior experience in AI data training or annotation, content QA, editorial operations, or style-guide governance is strongly preferred - Self-directed and reliable with the ability to deliver consistent quality in a remote, cross-timezone contractor workflow Why Join Us This role places you at the intersection of expert content craft and cutting-edge AI development, giving you the chance to shape how the world's leading AI models write and communicate.
