Sales Manager - Chennai

Role Overview DP World is looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead location-level sales operations in Chennai. This is a high-ownership role where you will manage independent P&L, build strong client relationships, and drive consistent month-on-month revenue growth. You will work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery while maintaining an aggressive sales pipeline. Key Responsibilities - Drive month-on-month growth of location sales and meet revenue targets - Handle independent P&L management for the Chennai location - Identify and meet prospects, convert leads, and grow the client base - Ensure timely submission of invoices and follow up on collections from all clients - Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term retention - Coordinate with the operations team for proper warehouse management and resolve issues proactively - Submit timely forecast reports and weekly visit reports to senior management Required Qualifications - BBA or MBA in Sales and Marketing from a recognised institution - 5 to 8 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in logistics or warehousing - Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a client-first mindset - Strong planning ability combined with a hands-on, proactive approach - Prior experience in a start-up environment is an advantage - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook - Effective communication skills over email and phone Why Join Us DP World is a global leader in smart logistics and supply chain solutions, offering you the opportunity to make a real impact at a location level while growing your career within a world-class organisation.
