Role Overview DP World Cold Chain Logistics Private Limited is looking for a seasoned Manager Operations to oversee warehouse functions and ensure seamless day-to-day logistics operations at their Chennai facility. This is a mid-senior level, full-time opportunity suited for professionals with a strong background in warehouse or cold storage management. Key Responsibilities - Supervise warehouse staff and manage daily operational activities across the facility - Track receipt, storage, and timely dispatch of goods and materials with accuracy - Evaluate and report on warehouse productivity metrics on a regular basis - Maintain records, prepare documentation, and report relevant operational data - Conduct inventory management including cycle counts and physical stock verification - Prepare annexures for storage and handling invoices - Coordinate customer quality audits and address quality-related requirements - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and maintenance standards - Drive implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) across operations - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency - Liaise with staff at all levels and interact with customers in a professional manner Required Qualifications - Graduate degree or MBA in a relevant discipline - Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics management role - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook - Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and team interaction - Experience in cold storage operations is a significant advantage Why Join Us DP World is a globally recognised leader in supply chain and logistics, offering you the chance to grow within a world-class organisation that values operational excellence and innovation.
