Owner Care and Yacht Brokerage Coordinator

Role Overview Conch Charters, a family-run sailing company based in Road Town, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, is looking for an experienced marine professional to join their team as an Owner Care and Yacht Brokerage Coordinator. This is a full-time, shore-based role that offers the unique opportunity to live and work in the sailing capital of the world while earning in USD. The position involves a wide mix of responsibilities both inside and outside the office, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic and hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the primary point of contact for yacht owners via phone, email, and in-person meetings, addressing queries and building long-term relationships - Prepare accurate owner statements using turnaround sheets, mechanic reports, POS data, and external invoices - Manage the fleet insurance policy including updates to insurance providers and processing of claims - Coordinate with the operations team to ensure all major maintenance concerns and project work are resolved promptly - Support the technical team in maintaining the highest standards of yacht upkeep and preventative maintenance - Maintain and update Charter Yacht Sales listings and respond to brokerage enquiries in a timely manner - Assist with the preparation of yacht brokerage paperwork including AML compliance documentation - Participate in guest briefings and debriefings, reviewing feedback forms and addressing any yacht-related issues - Assist with fleet preparations during hurricane season including working at the BVI Marine Shelter during named storms - Complete vessel turnarounds across all types of yachts in the fleet as and when required Required Qualifications - Strong technical knowledge with a solid background in mechanical and electrical systems - Proven sailing experience with the ability to swim and snorkel - Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to perform under pressure - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and customer-focused approach - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy - Ability to remain calm and effective when handling emergency situations - Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays Why Join Us This is a rare opportunity to combine professional growth with an extraordinary lifestyle in one of the most beautiful sailing destinations in the world.
