Record to Report Operations Associate

Role Overview Accenture is seeking a Record to Report Operations Associate to join its Finance Operations vertical in Bengaluru. In this role, you will support the end-to-end R2R process by collecting and analyzing financial data, reconciling transactions, and ensuring strict compliance with applicable accounting standards. You will contribute to delivering accurate and transparent financial reporting that supports informed business decisions. Key Responsibilities - Collect, process, and analyze operational financial data and reports to determine accurate financial outcomes - Perform reconciliation of intercompany transactions to ensure all transactional relationships between company entities remain in balance - Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger balances and flag any debit balance discrepancies - Reconcile AR sub-ledger against General Ledger, treasury open items, and intercompany accounts - Prepare detailed summaries of outstanding payments including discount earned and penalties paid - Solve routine problems using established precedents and general guidelines - Coordinate within your immediate team and report to your direct supervisor on daily tasks and new assignments - Work in rotational shifts as required by business needs Required Qualifications - Bachelor of Commerce degree - 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Record to Report and Intercompany Account Reconciliation - Working knowledge of financial concepts including fixed assets, amortization, depreciation, accruals, and financial consolidation - Familiarity with accounting standards, SOX compliance, treasury operations, and financial reporting standards - Proficiency with GL accounting, account reconciliation, and financial data analysis - Ability to work independently as an individual contributor within a structured team environment Why Join Us Accenture is a global leader in professional services with a presence across more than 120 countries, offering you the opportunity to grow your finance career alongside 784,000 talented professionals worldwide. - BCom graduate with 1 to 3 years of experience in Record to Report - Hands-on experience in Intercompany Account Reconciliation - Knowledge of GL accounting and AR sub-ledger reconciliation - Understanding of accounting standards and SOX compliance - Familiarity with treasury, depreciation, amortization, and accruals - Strong financial data analysis and reconciliation skills - Ability to work in rotational shifts - Good communication and coordination skills within a team
