Role Overview
IBM Consulting is looking for a skilled Order to Cash professional to join its BPO division as an Assistant Manager. This role sits at the heart of digital transformation initiatives, leveraging agile methodologies, process mining, and AI-powered workflows to serve some of the most innovative enterprises across the globe. Key Responsibilities
- Post and balance daily cash applications and maintain accounts receivable records with accuracy
- Analyse receivable accounts, investigate unresolved entries, and support audit preparation activities
- Manage direct debit runs, handle rejections, and update Oracle ERP systems accordingly
- Investigate and resolve unapplied payments, ensuring correct allocation to customer accounts
- Respond to customer queries related to payments, refunds, and miscellaneous accounts receivable matters
- Monitor customer account statuses against defined metrics, goals, and objectives
- Build and utilise analytical reports to review pertinent account information
- Collaborate and negotiate with customers, the sales team, and finance functions to drive process improvements
- Identify and implement action plans to increase cash application automation and reduce processing complexity
- Ensure all client Service Level Agreements and timelines are consistently met
Required Qualifications
- Commerce graduate with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Order to Cash processes
- Solid grounding in basic accounting principles and financial reconciliation
- Hands-on experience with ERP software (Oracle preferred) and MS Office applications
- Demonstrated ability to meet accuracy and timeliness targets across baseline and project goals
- Experience collaborating in team meetings and contributing to shared business metrics
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and adapt to change management initiatives
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, self-directed work style

Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Order to Cash (O2C)
- Commerce graduate or any graduate with relevant accounting background
- Hands-on experience with ERP software such as Oracle
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Knowledge of cash application automation and touchless cash settlement
- Experience in accounts receivable management and general reconciliation
- Familiarity with SLA monitoring and compliance
- Ability to build and analyse financial reports
- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills with cross-functional teams
- Experience in process improvement identification and implementation
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts
