Role Overview
Larsen & Toubro is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Line Operator to run and monitor EV traction motor production equipment in Bengaluru. In this role, you will operate stator, rotor, assembly, and testing machinery while adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards. You will collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to meet daily production targets and ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery for stator winding, lamination stacking, laser welding, and rotor assembly
- Assemble housings, bearings, shafts, cooling jackets, and sensors using precision torque tools and jigs
- Perform end-of-line electrical performance, vibration, noise, insulation resistance, and hipot testing
- Conduct quality inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and torque tools, documenting data in MES
- Perform autonomous maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubrication, and basic equipment checks
- Adhere to all EHS rules, wear required PPE, and participate in daily safety briefings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a relevant engineering field
- Technical experience in operating manufacturing machinery and using precision measurement tools
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, EHS guidelines, and 5S workspace cleanliness standards
- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings, work instructions, and torque charts
- Disciplined team player willing to work in a fast-paced production environment

Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related technical fields
- 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production line environment
- Practical experience using calipers, micrometers, torque tools, and checking quality standards
- Ability to read and follow technical work instructions and basic mechanical drawings
- Solid commitment to safety rules, PPE compliance, and 5S hygiene standards
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts to meet daily production targets
