Role Overview The Ritz-Carlton, Bengaluru is looking for a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join its award-winning culinary team at 99 Residency Road. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional to be part of one of the world's most celebrated luxury hotel brands. Key Responsibilities - Prepare specialty meals, substitute dishes, and cold food items as per established recipes and presentation guidelines - Regulate and monitor the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure optimal cooking conditions - Pull food items from freezer storage in a timely manner to allow proper thawing in the refrigerator - Ensure correct portion sizes, food arrangement, and garnishing for every dish served - Maintain accurate food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of all prepared food - Communicate with the team during peak hours to ensure smooth kitchen operations - Inform the Chef of surplus food items that can be used for daily specials - Update Food and Beverage service staff on current menu specials and out-of-stock items - Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating kitchen employees - Follow all company safety, hygiene, and security policies and report any maintenance issues or unsafe conditions promptly Required Qualifications - Diploma or degree from a Technical, Trade, or Vocational Culinary School - Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a professional kitchen environment - Strong understanding of food safety standards, cooking techniques, and presentation norms - Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift objects up to 25 pounds for extended periods - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting - Professional appearance and conduct at all times Why Join Us At The Ritz-Carlton, you become part of a globally recognised brand that sets the gold standard in luxury hospitality, where your talent is valued and your growth is supported.
