Assembly Operator

Role Overview Magellan Aerospace is seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing facility in Bengaluru on a temporary contract basis. In this role, you will assemble, install, and test aircraft components and structures in strict compliance with technical specifications and blueprints. You will operate hand and power tools, apply sealants, and collaborate with quality teams to maintain the highest aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities - Assemble and install complex aircraft components according to engineering drawings, diagrams, and standard operating procedures. - Perform bush installation using liquid nitrogen, solid/blind rivet installation, and fastener or Huck Bolt installation. - Apply fay bonding, brush sealing, and over-coating sealants accurately. - Inspect, test, and perform manual drilling or paint touch-ups on completed assemblies to resolve quality defects. - Maintain tools and equipment, follow safety protocols, and document assembly activities for product traceability. Required Qualifications - ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) is required. - Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in aircraft component assembly or relevant manufacturing setup. - Hands-on expertise in bush installation, riveting, sealant application, and manual drilling. - Familiarity with quality standards and aerospace regulations such as AS9100 is highly desirable.
