Role Overview
Saint-Gobain Group in India is looking for a driven and experienced Key Accounts Manager to join the Vetrotech division based in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing strategic client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and serving as the primary liaison between key accounts and internal teams. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure client retention and loyalty
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing their needs promptly and professionally
- Understand client requirements in depth and relay them accurately to internal teams for effective delivery
- Prepare detailed account status reports that highlight potential risks, upcoming opportunities, and progress updates
- Work closely with the sales team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximise profitability
- Proactively identify new business opportunities within the existing client base to drive organic growth
- Facilitate timely resolution of client issues and complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Conduct periodic business reviews with clients to evaluate performance and strengthen partnerships
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to keep the organisation informed and competitive
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record as a Key Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value clients
- Problem-solving mindset with a consistent focus on delivering excellent customer experiences
- Background in sales or customer service is an added advantage
