Job Description

Role Overview Saint-Gobain Group in India is looking for a driven and strategic Key Accounts Manager to join their Sales and Business Development team in Chennai. This is a mid-senior level, full-time opportunity for a professional who excels at nurturing high-value client relationships and uncovering new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will act as the single point of contact for key accounts while driving sustainable revenue growth across the Home and Hospitality segment. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with high-volume customers to support organic growth and meet company objectives - Identify and pursue new business development avenues and sales leads within the assigned region - Research and understand customer needs, then recommend the most suitable solutions from the company's product and service offerings - Communicate new product launches and developments to prospective clients and relay customer feedback to the New Product Development team - Maintain a healthy sales funnel to consistently achieve sales targets and generate accurate forecasts - Engage with prospective clients to identify opportunities for improving the sales pipeline - Lead price negotiations and serve as the primary point of contact for client queries and solutions - Plan and execute regional marketing activities among key influencers and decision-makers - Track, measure, and report key account performance metrics on a regular basis - Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge Required Qualifications - Proven experience in key account management or B2B sales, preferably in the building materials, construction, or related industry - Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and business development strategies - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills - Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into actionable strategies - Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently across a regional territory - Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting systems is an advantage Why Join Us Saint-Gobain is a globally respected leader in sustainable construction and high-performance materials, offering a dynamic work environment where your contributions directly shape business outcomes.
