Design Engineer - Mechanical (Revit MEP)

Role Overview BW Design Group is looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in Revit MEP to contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems for large-scale industrial and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to produce high-quality BIM models and technical drawings for projects spanning sectors such as semiconductor fabrication, pharmaceuticals, biotech, and manufacturing. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain Revit MEP models for mechanical and HVAC systems - Prepare comprehensive design drawings, equipment layouts, sections, and mechanical room arrangements - Design and coordinate HVAC systems including air handling units, ventilation, and exhaust systems - Develop chilled water, hydronic piping, hot water, and steam heating system designs - Perform duct routing, piping layout, and clash detection across disciplines - Coordinate closely with architectural, structural, electrical, and process engineering teams - Assist in equipment sizing, selection, and technical specification documentation - Participate in design review meetings and BIM coordination sessions Required Qualifications - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline - 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or HVAC design for building or industrial projects - Strong proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD - Solid understanding of HVAC systems, air distribution, hydronic systems, and piping layouts - Experience working on industrial facility projects such as semiconductor, pharma, or manufacturing - Familiarity with industry codes and standards including ASHRAE and SMACNA - Experience with BIM coordination tools, preferably Navisworks - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word - Exposure to cleanroom design, process utility systems, and US or international project standards is an advantage Why Join Us BW Design Group offers a dynamic work environment where engineers collaborate on technically challenging, high-impact projects across the globe.
