Job Description

Role Overview Saint-Gobain Group in India is looking for an Assistant Manager in Hardware Solutions to drive channel sales and expand market presence across the assigned territory in Chennai. This is a high-impact mid-senior role focused on building a robust dealer and distributor network while delivering strong business results. The position plays a key role in growing brand awareness, improving customer experience, and identifying new revenue opportunities for the Hardware Solutions vertical. Key Responsibilities - Develop and expand the dealer, sub-dealer, distributor, and retail network across the assigned territory - Drive sales through channel partners including dealers, wholesalers, and retailers to achieve sales turnover targets - Launch new products and create market awareness to enhance brand value among influencers and end customers - Build and maintain strong relationships with end customers such as aluminium fabricators, glass fabricators, and interior contractors - Monitor and manage receivables by ensuring timely collection of outstanding amounts - Scout for opportunities to reach end consumers in a cost-effective manner and grow business volumes - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient product delivery and achievement of business KPIs - Analyze competitor offerings and continuously improve the customer experience benchmark - Develop go-to-market strategies and a clear channel roadmap for the territory Required Qualifications - Prior experience in channel development and retail network management is essential - Background in the hardware industry is strongly preferred - Strong customer-centric approach with proven networking and influencing skills - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive results through internal and external stakeholders - Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving - Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities with attention to detail - Strong planning, prioritization, and time management abilities Why Join Us Saint-Gobain is a globally respected brand with a strong and growing presence in India, offering excellent opportunities for career advancement in a performance-driven environment.
