Assistant Manager - Accounts Receivable

Key Responsibilities - Review and resolve outstanding insurance balances by identifying issues that delay claim payment finalization - Coordinate with payers, patients, and clients to ensure timely resolution of claims - Analyze EOBs and denials at the claim level and identify trends that affect revenue and drive process improvements - Track and evaluate data to recommend strategies that improve first-pass denial rates and reduce overall AR aging - Maintain a thorough understanding of the full accounting cycle and claim life cycle - Ensure all workflow tasks are completed within defined turnaround times and quality standards - Adhere to company policies, employment terms, and all applicable compliance directives Required Qualifications - Functional knowledge of HIPAA rules, regulations, and privacy laws related to information access and release - Strong command of American English with a neutral accent - Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients - Sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities - Accurate and efficient typing and keyboard skills - High level of professionalism and commitment to client and patient satisfaction Why Join Us At Optum and UnitedHealth Group, you will be part of a mission-driven team committed to making healthcare equitable and accessible for all.
