Role Overview
Join Optum as an Assistant Manager and lead revenue cycle management operations with a focus on US Healthcare claims processing. This role requires managing a team of 15+ members while ensuring accurate documentation, timely data delivery, and achievement of performance metrics in a dynamic healthcare services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Document claims data accurately and ensure timely delivery to Team Liaison and stakeholders
- Lead and supervise a team of 15 or more members with focus on performance management and team development
- Identify and coordinate process improvement opportunities across the team
- Monitor, measure, and report team performance metrics while implementing incentive programs
- Deliver training programs for both new and ongoing staff development
- Analyze quality results and error trends to identify root causes and develop improvement plans
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal customers and leadership
- Support leadership objectives and partner on revenue and business goals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from recognized institution
- 5 or more years of collections experience in Revenue Cycle Management including AR Follow up, Denial Management, or similar functions
- 3 or more years of dedicated experience in AR Follow up and Denial Management
- 2 or more years of team handling experience with minimum span of 15 people
- Hands-on experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management with AR Calling and Denial Management
- Provider Hospital AR experience from US Healthcare sector
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work night shifts and Indian holidays
