Supervisor - Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

Role Overview Optum, a global leader in care and technology, is hiring an experienced RCM Supervisor to lead collections and AR operations for its US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management function. Key Responsibilities - Ensure accurate and timely documentation and delivery of claims data to the Team Liaison - Monitor, measure, and report team performance metrics and implement team incentive programs - Deliver and facilitate training sessions for new and existing team members - Identify root causes of errors and develop improvement plans at both individual and department levels - Coordinate with team members to identify and implement process improvement opportunities - Routinely analyze quality results to track error trends and drive defect reduction - Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders including US Team Leads, Managers, and Directors - Partner with leadership to promote department revenue goals and broader business objectives - Review and update training materials as needed and provide feedback to management on training outcomes - Fulfill administrative responsibilities and comply with company policies and employment terms Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in any discipline - 5 or more years of collections experience in RCM domains such as Infusion, Patient Collections, Ambulatory, or Professional and Hospital Billing - 3 or more years of hands-on experience in AR Follow-up and Denial Management - 2 or more years of team handling experience managing a minimum span of 15 people - Proven expertise in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management including AR Calling and Denial Management - Experience in US Healthcare Provider Hospital AR operations - Strong exposure to people management, performance management, and client management - Solid proficiency in MS Office with proven reporting and MIS skills - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle onshore customers independently - Willingness to work night shifts and on Indian public holidays Preferred Qualifications - Six Sigma knowledge, certification, or training - Prior experience in process or project transitions Why Join Us At Optum and UnitedHealth Group, you become part of a mission-driven organization committed to making the health system work better for everyone.
