Role Overview
UPS, a Fortune Global 500 company, is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Account Executive to join its Business Development team in Chennai. This is a field-based B2B sales role where you will be responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of clients within a defined territory. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting potential B2B clients within the assigned geography
- Initiate contact with prospects via phone and email to gather initial information and schedule meetings
- Understand client requirements and present the most suitable UPS service solutions
- Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals to potential customers
- Retain and grow relationships with existing clients by penetrating active accounts
- Handle account maintenance, resolve client concerns, and manage the overall health of the client portfolio
- Track and monitor sales performance by maintaining accurate reports and updating internal CRM systems regularly
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an internationally recognised equivalent qualification
- Meets local age and vehicle operation requirements applicable to the role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Flexibility to work up to five days a week with variable shift hours when required
