Job Description

Role Overview UPS, a Fortune Global 500 company, is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Account Executive to join its Business Development team in Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals to build a rewarding sales career with one of the world's most recognised logistics brands. You will be responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of B2B clients within a designated geographic territory. Key Responsibilities - Identify and develop new business opportunities to consistently meet monthly sales targets - Reach out to prospective clients via phone and email to gather initial information and schedule appointments - Analyse client requirements and present suitable UPS service solutions - Prepare competitive bids and proposals tailored to client needs - Retain and grow existing client accounts through regular engagement and upselling - Handle client maintenance, issue resolution, and overall portfolio management - Track and monitor sales performance by maintaining up-to-date reports and internal CRM systems Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (mandatory) - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory - Meets local age and operational requirements for vehicle operation - Availability to work flexible hours across up to 5 days per week Why Join Us At UPS, you will be part of an inclusive, high-performance culture that values your growth and rewards your efforts. Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification - Strong communication skills in English - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Valid driving licence and willingness to travel - Ability to work flexible shift hours up to 5 days a week - Self-motivated with a passion for sales and business development - Prior experience in B2B sales is an advantage but not mandatory
