Strategic Growth Initiative Counsel Specialist

Role Overview Accenture's Supply Chain and Engineering Legal Team is seeking an experienced attorney to provide strategic legal counsel and support for supply chain and engineering initiatives. This role involves advising on cutting-edge technologies, product liability issues, and regulatory compliance matters. You will work closely with business leaders and legal teams to shape strategic decisions and guide solutions to market while managing risk and governance. Key Responsibilities - Provide strategic legal input to shape decisions impacting supply chain and engineering initiatives with emphasis on growth markets and global solutions leads - Assess new supply chain and engineering solutions for legal compliance and develop risk mitigation strategies including contractual, operational, and technical safeguards - Conduct internal and external legal research on emerging technologies, applicable laws, regulations, and their business impact - Develop guidance documents, guardrails, and playbooks to enable sales and delivery teams to efficiently support client transactions - Work with regulatory and compliance counsel to synthesize advice and anticipate impacts of regulatory changes on business operations Required Qualifications - Juris Doctor degree or equivalent legal qualification with admission to bar or local equivalent - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate or law firm setting - Strong understanding of supply chain and engineering legal issues including AI, IoT, embedded systems, cloud computing, and digital manufacturing - Knowledge of product liability in B2B and B2C contexts and applicable regulatory landscapes Why Join Us Join Accenture's dynamic legal team working with innovative technologies and global business leaders. - 5 to 11 years of legal experience in corporate or law firm setting - Juris Doctor or equivalent legal qualification - Expertise in supply chain and engineering legal matters - Knowledge of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, embedded systems, and cloud computing applications - Product liability experience in business-to-business and business-to-consumer contexts - Risk identification, analysis, and management skills - Contract drafting and negotiation experience - Understanding of intellectual property, data privacy, and data protection issues - Experience with regulatory compliance and governance - Ability to build relationships with senior business leaders - Strong legal research and analysis capabilities - Deal evaluation and commercial model assessment experience
