Supply Chain Operations Associate

Role Overview Accenture is hiring a Supply Chain Operations Associate to join its Service Supply Chain division in Kolkata. This role operates as an end-to-end order case manager in a high-urgency, uptime-critical B2B technology repair environment. You will work at the intersection of logistics dispatch, SLA management, and cross-functional collaboration, leveraging proprietary and client-facing systems to deliver seamless service fulfillment outcomes. Key Responsibilities - Own the complete order lifecycle including parts identification, courier booking, field engineer dispatch, and order closure - Validate corrective parts and ensure accurate matching with product entitlements and repair requirements - Route field engineers based on their availability, technical skill set, geographic location, and SLA constraints - Coordinate shipments with 3PL providers, FSL hubs, same-day carriers, and NFO courier partners - Track delivery ETAs in real time and resolve deviations immediately, escalating unresolved issues without waiting for supervisor direction - Detect SLA risks early by monitoring ETA variance, vendor responsiveness, lane history, and courier behavior patterns - Escalate assertively to vendors, couriers, or internal leaders to protect service commitments at every stage - Run incident bridge calls and post-mortem reviews with clear corrective action documentation - Maintain accurate, time-stamped case records across all logistics workflows - Collaborate closely with field vendor teams, courier partners, the control tower, and parts planning functions Required Qualifications - Undergraduate degree in any discipline - 1 to 3 years of total experience in logistics, dispatch operations, BPO service delivery, or high-urgency operational roles - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting B2B dispatch logistics workflows - Background in IT hardware repair operations or managed service environments is strongly preferred - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret logistics data and make independent decisions - Excellent communication and assertiveness when dealing with vendors, couriers, and cross-functional teams - Proven ability to multitask under continuous operational pressure with minimal supervision - Solid problem-solving skills and a high-ownership mindset that drives proactive action Why Join Us Accenture offers a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where your logistics expertise directly impacts client uptime and customer satisfaction at a global scale.
