Senior Software Engineer - React

Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy advanced web applications using React and Redux as part of Caterpillar's digital platform - Work independently on complex application and infrastructure components used across one or more systems or applications - Identify and resolve complex technical and application-level problems, including off-hours support when required - Drive development of business-valuable features while maintaining high standards of software quality across the team - Conduct integrated testing and customer acceptance testing with careful planning to ensure timely and accurate results - Communicate with end users and internal stakeholders to guide development, debugging, and testing for accuracy, integrity, and interoperability - Mentor team members and encourage continuous improvement and growth within the team Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or a related field - 7 to 9 years of overall software development experience, or a minimum of 6 years with a master's degree in computer science or related discipline - At least 7 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using React and Redux - Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals - Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, or Oracle - Familiarity with application architecture patterns such as MVC, Microservices, and Event-driven design - Experience deploying software using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GoCD, or Azure DevOps - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure - Working knowledge of RESTful API design and API tools such as Swagger, Postman, or Assertible - Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies - Familiarity with test-driven development, behavior-driven development, and testing tools like Selenium and Cucumber Why Join Us At Caterpillar Digital, you will be part of a globally respected organization that is actively reshaping its future through technology, data, and innovation.
