Data and Software Application Engineer

Role Overview Philips is looking for a skilled Data and Software Application Engineer to join its Service Parts Supply Chain group within the Circular Lifetime Solutions organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving software applications that support the end-to-end Service Parts Supply Chain operations at Philips Healthcare. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and subject matter experts to build workflow applications, process automations, Control Towers, and AI-powered solutions. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and enhance existing SPS database and software applications to ensure smooth operational performance - Design and develop new software solutions in partnership with business process owners, IT teams, and other stakeholders - Ensure all SPS software applications are thoroughly documented and clearly understood by key stakeholders - Support and participate in software validation processes to uphold quality standards - Act as the primary business-level point of contact for queries related to SPS software applications - Lead or contribute to the resolution of incidents and technical issues affecting SPS applications - Assist business teams in post-incident clean-up and recovery activities - Share domain knowledge, experience, and insights to support both business and IT teams - Contribute to the development of a data and digital platform architecture that enables seamless integration and AI-driven extensions Required Qualifications - Bachelor or Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Software Engineering or equivalent field - Minimum 8 years of hands-on programming experience including asp.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL, and Oracle databases, particularly for workflow applications - Strong knowledge of supply chain operations and processes - Experience in software validation is preferred - Prior exposure to AI implementation projects is an added advantage - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at both individual and team levels - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively at management and leadership levels - Proven experience working in cross-cultural global team environments - Fluency in English, both verbal and written Why Join Us At Philips, we are a health technology company driven by the belief that every human life matters, and we are committed to making quality healthcare accessible to all.
