Risk Consulting Manager - Process and Controls (TMT Sector)

Role Overview EY GDS is looking for an experienced Manager to join its Risk Consulting – Process and Controls team, with a dedicated focus on the Technology, Media and Telecommunication (TMT) sector. This is a client-facing, high-impact role that offers broad exposure to global engagements, industry-leading practices, and emerging technologies such as GenAI, Advanced Analytics, and RPA. You will play a pivotal role in shaping risk consulting solutions for global TMT clients while contributing to the growth and innovation agenda of EY GDS. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage multiple risk consulting engagements including Internal Audit, Internal Controls, SOX 404, and business process reviews for TMT sector clients - Oversee engagement teams to deliver high-quality outputs aligned with EY global standards, timelines, and budgets - Identify process gaps, assess risks, and design improvement recommendations based on industry best practices and client-specific business environments - Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and EY member firm teams across multiple regions - Contribute to business development activities including proposals, RFP responses, and thought leadership content for the TMT sector - Support automation and innovation initiatives using GenAI, Advanced Analytics, and RPA to enhance service delivery - Monitor engagement progress, manage risks proactively, and communicate status and outcomes to key internal and external stakeholders - Drive engagement productivity and operational efficiencies while ensuring compliance with EY global quality and risk management procedures - Mentor and develop junior team members, managing performance cycles and fostering career growth Required Qualifications - 8 or more years of experience in consulting or industry roles focused on process and controls, internal audits, and business process evaluation - Demonstrated ability to deliver risk consulting engagements for global TMT sector clients covering areas such as network operations, revenue assurance, regulatory compliance, procurement, and customer experience - Understanding of global telecom operating models including integrated operators, MVNO/MVNE, digital-first telcos, and converged services - Familiarity with telecom reforms, digital connectivity trends, network modernisation, and emerging risks in the TMT landscape - Strong analytical, structured thinking, and consulting skills with excellent communication and report writing capabilities - Proficiency in GenAI tools, MS Office, data analytics, and data validation - Experience leading cross-functional teams with strong stakeholder management abilities - Big Four or top-tier management consulting experience preferred Why Join Us At EY, you will work on meaningful, globally connected engagements alongside some of the most engaging colleagues in the industry, with the freedom and flexibility to shape your own career path.
