RPA UiPath Developer - GDS Consulting AIA

Role Overview EY Global Delivery Services is looking for a skilled RPA UiPath Developer to join its AIA Consulting team in Chennai. In this role, you will independently design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation solutions using UiPath, working directly with client teams to translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready workflows. You will be part of a globally connected delivery network spanning six countries, contributing to impactful automation projects for leading organisations worldwide. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop automation workflows using UiPath Modern Design and ReFramework from end to end - Build and manage queue-based automation, long-running workflows, and transaction processing with retry and fault-tolerance logic - Integrate UiPath workflows with Excel, REST and SOAP APIs, and external systems using Invoke Code and advanced selectors - Manage Orchestrator components such as Queues, Assets, and Triggers and coordinate deployments across multiple environments - Troubleshoot, optimise, and maintain existing bots in production with quick turnaround on bug fixes - Collaborate with business SMEs and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver timely status updates - Document automation processes in line with delivery standards including naming conventions, annotations, and folder structures - Apply Document Understanding frameworks with OCR engines such as ABBYY or Tesseract for intelligent document processing - Use Git, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools for version control and deployment management Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience developing RPA solutions using UiPath tools - Proven expertise with UiPath Studio (Modern Design), UiPath Orchestrator, UiPath Assistant, and REFramework - Experience with API integrations, Excel automation including VBA and macros, and Data Tables - Familiarity with UI Automation, Selectors, Computer Vision, and logging and monitoring tools - UiPath Advanced Developer Certification is preferred - Strong communication skills for direct client engagement and the ability to independently own workstreams - Flexibility to work in shifts as required Why Join Us At EY GDS, you will gain access to continuous learning opportunities, transformative leadership coaching, and a diverse and inclusive global culture that empowers you to grow your career in the direction you choose. - 3 to 4 years of experience with UiPath development tools - Proficiency in UiPath Modern Design and REFramework - Experience with UiPath Orchestrator, Queues, Assets, and Triggers - Knowledge of queue-based processing and long-running workflows - Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP API integrations - Excel automation skills including VBA and macros - Familiarity with Document Understanding, OCR engines like ABBYY or Tesseract - Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools - Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities - Effective communication skills for direct client interaction - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field - UiPath Advanced Developer Certification preferred
