SAP MM Senior Consultant

Role Overview EY is looking for an experienced SAP MM Senior Consultant to join its Global Delivery Services team in Chennai. You will work alongside a globally connected network of professionals, delivering SAP Material Management solutions to clients across diverse industries. Key Responsibilities - Plan and execute SAP MM implementation, development, and support activities while leading the functional team - Understand client requirements, provide end-to-end functional solutions, and configure SAP MM accordingly - Prepare functional specifications, process definition documents, business process procedures, and blueprint workshop material - Create process flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio for proposed client business processes - Manage resource allocation, supervise team members, assign tasks, and evaluate team performance against organisational goals - Ensure all work products and packages conform to client standards and project requirements - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration with WM, QM, PP, and SD modules Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline - Minimum 4 years of relevant SAP MM experience with at least two full end-to-end implementation projects - Hands-on configuration experience in SAP Material Management - Strong knowledge of business processes including consumables procurement, imports procurement, source determination, STO, automatic account determination, pricing procedures, batch management, sub-contracting, consignment, pipeline, and invoice planning - Experience with data migration using LSMW or BDC - Familiarity with EDI processes related to orders, deliveries, confirmations, invoices, and material master - Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle client interactions independently - Knowledge of ABAP debugging, taxation components such as Vertex, and SAP MM certification will be an added advantage Why Join Us EY offers a flexible, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment where you will have access to world-class learning opportunities, mentorship programmes, and a diverse global network.
