Process Associate / Analyst / QA Analyst / Team Lead - Insurance (UK Life & Pensions)

Role Overview HCLTech is actively hiring experienced professionals for multiple roles within the UK Life and Pensions domain at its Chennai Navallur Campus. These positions span across operations, quality assurance, retirement fund management, savings and investments, and team leadership, offering a strong career path in financial services and insurance back-office processing. Candidates available immediately or within a 30-day notice period will be given priority consideration. Key Responsibilities - Supervise and manage day-to-day operations across ARF Post-Retirement and New Business S&I processes - Allocate tasks, monitor individual and team performance, and ensure SLA adherence - Accurately process insurance transactions including ARF inputting, income payments, surrenders, top-ups, and fund switches - Handle written enquiries from policyholders and Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) - Process back-office insurance tasks such as claims, alterations, and policy servicing - Respond professionally to customer complaints and contribute to improved service delivery - Conduct team huddles, performance reviews, and coaching sessions for team development - Perform quality audits across ARF and S&I transactions to ensure internal and regulatory compliance - Identify process gaps, maintain quality metrics, and support training and improvement initiatives - Coordinate with underwriting teams for special cases and manage electronic data matching during onboarding and conversions - Prepare operational reports and support strategic planning activities - Maintain data confidentiality and integrity throughout all workflows Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field - 1 to 6 or more years of experience in financial operations, insurance back-office, or retirement fund processing depending on the role applied for - Strong knowledge of ARF products, savings and investment products, and UK Life and Pensions regulations - Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with audit tools and internal processing systems - Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail - Experience in team management, workflow optimisation, and supervisory responsibilities for senior roles - Understanding of compliance standards applicable to UK insurance and pension regulations Why Join Us HCLTech offers a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment where professionals can build deep expertise in UK Life and Pensions operations while working with global standards.
