Pricing Analyst - Shipping and Logistics (Short-Term Pricing)

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Pricing Analyst with a strong background in container shipping to join our client's team in Chennai on an immediate basis. This role focuses on short-term pricing, tariff governance, and commercial pricing support within container line operations. Candidates with up to 30 days notice period are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities - Manage tariff and rate maintenance including MFR and ETS platforms - Handle surcharge exception management and approval workflows - Conduct pricing data analysis and generate actionable reports - Prepare tender tier and performance reports for internal stakeholders - Support commercial pricing communication across relevant teams - Ensure data quality management and provide ongoing process support - Coordinate with Sales and Commercial teams for smooth pricing operations Required Qualifications - 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in container shipping or related logistics industry - Proficiency in rate management and commercial pricing practices - Advanced Excel skills with strong data analysis capabilities - Solid understanding of pricing governance and reporting frameworks - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Why Join Us This is a great opportunity to work with a leading shipping and logistics client in Chennai and grow your career in commercial pricing and operations.
