Order to Cash Specialist

Role Overview Genpact is seeking an Order to Cash Specialist to manage cash application, deduction creation, and collections operations for global enterprises. This role involves handling manual, lock box, and EFT receipts while ensuring financial integrity and timely resolution of receivables. You will work at the cutting edge of finance operations supporting leading companies across industries. Key Responsibilities - Process cash application and deduction creation for manual, lock box and EFT receipts within 24 hours of receipt or per client agreement - Audit cash application processes to ensure financial integrity of receivables and prevent erroneous cash discounts - Identify and research unknown cash receipts and ensure accurate and timely resolution to appropriate receivables - Make collection calls to customers, manage payment plans, and follow up on disputes between departments for resolution - Reconcile orders to match customer books including validating credits or debits and sending them for collection or refund - Navigate SAP or Oracle Account Receivables systems and interpret customer documentation to solve payment-related problems - Remain flexible and willing to work overtime during peak periods, month end, year end and skeletal staffing situations - Provide inbound and outbound calling support and handle remittance applications to customer accounts under tight deadlines Required Qualifications - Bachelor of Commerce graduate with relevant years of cash application experience - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good experience with Order to Cash end to end processes - Proficiency in SAP, Oracle and Excel - Ability to navigate through PowerBI or other automated reports and dashboards Why Join Us Genpact is a global advanced technology services company driving AI and digital innovation across industries. - Bachelor of Commerce degree - 3 to 8 years of cash application experience - Strong communication skills both verbal and written - Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset - End-to-end Order to Cash process knowledge - SAP or Oracle Account Receivables experience - Excel proficiency - PowerBI or automated reports and dashboards navigation - B2B collections, billing and cash applications experience preferred - Basic accounting principles understanding - Ability to interpret vague customer documentation - Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods and month-end close
