Order to Cash - Cash Applications Specialist

Role Overview Genpact is hiring an Order to Cash - Cash Applications Specialist for its Pune office. This is a full-time, work-from-office opportunity suited for finance professionals with hands-on experience in accounts receivable, cash application, and end-to-end O2C processes. You will play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of receivables while working closely with global clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities - Process cash application and deduction creation for manual, lock box, and EFT receipts within 24 hours of receipt or as per client agreement - Audit the auto cash application process to ensure financial accuracy and integrity of receivables including correct invoice closure and deduction creation - Identify and research unidentified or unknown cash receipts and ensure timely and accurate resolution - Interpret customer documentation to resolve payment-related issues and apply remittance to customer accounts within strict deadlines - Perform collection calls and follow up with delinquent customers via phone, email, or fax to secure payment commitments - Reconcile customer orders to match books, validate credits and debits, and resolve internal or customer-raised disputes in coordination with relevant departments - Provide customised payment plans based on individual customer requirements - Handle both inbound and outbound calling related to billing and collections - Support month-end and year-end closing activities and be flexible during peak workload periods Required Qualifications - B.Com graduate with relevant years of cash application experience - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities - Good understanding of Order to Cash end-to-end processes - Working knowledge of SAP or Oracle Accounts Receivable modules and Microsoft Excel - Ability to navigate Power BI or other automated reporting dashboards - Prior experience in B2B collections, billing, and cash applications is preferred Why Join Us Genpact offers a high-growth environment where you can work at the intersection of finance, AI, and automation while building expertise under experienced mentors.
