Order To Cash - Cash Applications and Billing

Role Overview Genpact is hiring experienced Order to Cash professionals for its Cash Applications and Billing team in Gurgaon. This is a work-from-office role suited for B.Com graduates with hands-on experience in accounts receivable, cash application, and end-to-end O2C processes. Key Responsibilities - Process manual, lockbox, and EFT cash receipts not automatically applied within 24 hours of receipt or as per client agreement - Audit the auto cash application process to maintain financial integrity of receivables including verifying closed invoices and created deductions - Identify and resolve unidentified or unknown cash receipts by researching and applying them accurately to the appropriate receivable - Perform inbound and outbound collection calls to recover delinquent amounts and secure payment commitments from customers - Email, fax, or mail invoices to customers as requested and follow up on disputes between customers and internal departments - Reconcile customer orders to match books, validate credits or debits, and coordinate resolution of customer and internal disputes - Provide customised payment plans based on customer requirements - Remain flexible to work overtime during peak periods including month-end, year-end, and lean staffing situations Required Qualifications - B.Com graduate with relevant years of experience in cash application processes - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities - Good working knowledge of end-to-end Order to Cash processes - Proficiency in SAP or Oracle Accounts Receivable and basic accounting principles - Comfortable working with Excel and navigating PowerBI or other automated reporting dashboards - Ability to interpret vague or complex customer documentation and resolve payment-related issues Why Join Us Genpact offers a high-growth environment where you can work alongside 140,000 professionals at the intersection of AI, automation, and digital innovation.
