Order to Cash Cash Applications Specialist

Role Overview We are seeking an Order to Cash Cash Applications Specialist to join our dynamic finance operations team at Genpact. In this role, you will manage cash application and deduction creation processes, audit automated cash transactions, and resolve payment discrepancies to ensure financial integrity. You will work with leading global enterprises, handling complex receivables and maintaining accuracy in cash flow management. Key Responsibilities - Process cash application and deduction creation for manual, lockbox, and EFT receipts within 24 hours of receipt - Audit automated cash application processes to ensure financial integrity of receivables and prevent erroneous cash discounts - Identify and research unidentified cash receipts and apply them to appropriate customer accounts accurately - Make collection calls to customers regarding delinquent amounts, negotiate payment plans, and resolve payment-related disputes - Reconcile orders with customer books, validate credits or debits, and coordinate refunds or collections with appropriate follow-up - Navigate SAP or Oracle systems to interpret customer documentation and solve payment-related problems - Remain current on workload distribution and work overtime during peak periods, month-end, and year-end cycles Required Qualifications - Bachelor of Commerce degree with relevant cash application experience - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, Excel, and PowerBI or similar automated reporting dashboards - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - End-to-end understanding of Order to Cash processes and accounts receivable management - Experience in B2B collections, billing, and dispute management preferred Why Join Us Join Genpact and work at the forefront of AI, automation, and digital innovation.
