Job Description

Role Overview Amazon is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused MyHR Live Support Advisor to join its globally renowned HR Contact Center team in Bangalore. This full-time role is part of the MyHR Live Support team that serves over 1.5 million Amazon employees worldwide, providing round-the-clock HR assistance across a wide range of topics including leave management, benefits, pay queries, employment verification, and offboarding. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced contact center environment and can handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and empathy. Key Responsibilities - Handle high volumes of live employee interactions primarily via phone calls and chat, ensuring each contact is resolved with accuracy and a customer-first mindset - Resolve HR-related queries by consulting available knowledge base articles, FAQs, and standard operating procedures, and escalate complex issues when required - Build employee trust through empathetic, personalised communication while adapting resolution approaches based on the individual needs of each employee - Respond promptly to urgent employee concerns ensuring proper documentation and communication even in situations with limited information - Apply strong judgment and critical thinking to balance company process guidelines with employee needs during live interactions - Collaborate with cross-functional partner teams to improve policies and resolve issues that span multiple departments - Maintain high performance across key metrics such as contact handling time, first-contact resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores - Adhere strictly to assigned schedules including timed breaks to support uninterrupted 24/7 contact center operations - Demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and overnight slots to support a global workforce across time zones Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in any discipline or a Bachelor of Arts degree - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and InfoPath - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English - 0 to 10 or more years of experience in human resources, customer service, or a contact center environment - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality - High ethical standards and experience handling confidential employee information with discretion - Preferred: 1 or more years of experience in HR, customer service, and Microsoft Office applications - Preferred: Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field - Preferred: Experience managing end-to-end projects or working with senior executives Why Join Us Amazon's inclusive and empowering work culture encourages every employee to bring their best to work every single day.
