Manager - Sales - Economic Zones

Role Overview DP World is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth for its Free Trade and Warehousing Zone facilities in Chennai. This is a mid-senior level, full-time opportunity ideal for professionals with a strong background in FTWZ, SEZ, logistics, or supply chain sales. The role demands a strategic thinker who can manage customer relationships, build channel networks, and execute targeted marketing plans. Key Responsibilities - Execute the marketing and sales strategy for planned FTWZ facilities and related services - Identify and engage with potential customers across key focus regions and industry segments - Develop and manage channel partner networks to support sales and marketing efforts - Structure customised commercial proposals in coordination with the Sales Head - Plan and oversee commercial activities and customer engagement strategies with a long-term business outlook - Take full ownership of customer relations and establish efficient service processes across all customer-facing departments - Ensure compliance with DP World credit control policies and work to eliminate bad debts and unpaid dues - Maintain in-depth knowledge of the EXIM industry landscape and monitor competitor activity - Implement and manage customer management tools to uphold high service quality standards - Maintain all marketing data and submit accurate monthly marketing reports on schedule - Support the organisation of trade events and business gatherings - Adhere to DP World media, brand, and communications guidelines Required Qualifications - Graduate degree, preferably with a Masters in Management or an MBA/PGDM from a reputed institution - Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in sales or commercial roles within FTWZ, SEZ, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain functions at a major MNC - Proven ability to manage key accounts, structure commercial deals, and drive revenue growth - Strong understanding of EXIM trade practices and the competitive logistics landscape in India Why Join Us DP World is one of the world's leading trade enablers, offering professionals a platform to work on large-scale logistics and economic zone projects with global impact.
