Manager - BLSE and LAP South East

Role Overview Bajaj Finserv is looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead the Business Loans and Loans Against Property vertical across the South East region. This role is based out of Anna Salai, Chennai, and is focused on building a high-performing, compliant sales culture that drives business acquisitions, profitability, and team development. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, channel management expertise, and a deep understanding of financial products. Key Responsibilities - Manage and support a team of sales professionals across the assigned geography, identifying new markets and allocating resources to maximize profitability - Achieve and exceed business targets consistently through focused planning and daily progress tracking - Build and maintain relationships with Category A builders to get their projects approved with Bajaj Finance Limited - Negotiate with builders and channel partners to secure business at cost-effective terms - Identify sales training needs, monitor changing market trends, and provide actionable feedback to the Regional Sales Manager - Plan and implement promotional contests while suggesting innovative promotional strategies for the region - Recruit, retain, and motivate top-performing sales talent to ensure high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction - Conduct timely performance management discussions, development plan reviews, coaching sessions, and skip-level meetings - Collaborate with Operations and Risk teams to improve processes and overall portfolio profitability - Manage collections for the acquired loan portfolio under the Sales and Collect model Required Qualifications - Graduate degree with 1 to 10 years of relevant sales experience depending on profile - Prior experience in the Financial Services sector, specifically in Personal Loans, Business Loans, or Loans Against Property - Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills - Self-starter with high motivation and a proven ability to lead teams in a high-performance environment - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Why Join Us Bajaj Finserv offers a dynamic and growth-oriented environment where high performers are recognized and rewarded.
