Job Description

Role Overview Bajaj Finserv is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Branch Manager for its Affordable Housing vertical based at Chennai, Anna Salai. The role is focused on building a high-performing, compliant sales culture that accelerates business acquisitions and maximises profitability. The ideal candidate will lead a team of sales professionals while managing key relationships with builders, customers, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Lead and deploy a team of sales professionals across assigned geographies to tap into new markets and allocate resources toward the most profitable opportunities - Drive and exceed business targets for the affordable housing loan segment - Engage with Category A builders to get projects approved with Bajaj Finserv and negotiate terms to ensure cost-effective business partnerships - Monitor market trends and channel deployment patterns and provide timely feedback and suggestions to the Regional Sales Manager - Plan and execute promotional campaigns and contests while recommending innovative strategies for the assigned area - Recruit, retain, and motivate high-performing team members by fostering strong employee engagement and satisfaction - Conduct timely performance reviews, development plan discussions, coaching sessions, and skip-level meetings - Coordinate with Operations, Risk, Credit, and Collections teams to support overall process efficiency and portfolio profitability - Manage collections for the acquired loan portfolio under the Sales and Collect model - Take case approval decisions within defined ROI limits Required Qualifications - Postgraduate degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant sales experience, or a graduate degree with 8 to 10 years of experience in sales - Prior experience in the financial services industry, particularly in personal loans, business loans, or loans against or purchase of commercial properties - Proven track record of managing large sales channels across multiple market environments or in corporate sales roles - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills - Strong analytical ability to evaluate channel performance and profitability metrics - Demonstrated leadership skills with a high bias for action and result orientation - Proficient in Microsoft Excel - Self-starter with high motivational levels and the ability to perform in a demanding environment Why Join Us Bajaj Finserv is one of India's most trusted financial services conglomerates offering a dynamic and growth-oriented work environment. Requirements

- Postgraduate with 3 to 5 years of relevant sales experience or graduate with 8 to 10 years of experience - Experience in financial services, personal loans, business loans, or commercial property loans - Strong leadership and team management capabilities - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Analytical skills to monitor and improve channel performance - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude - Ability to manage multiple locations and a team of 8 to 12 members
