Junior Associate AR

Role Overview Guidehouse is looking for a Junior Associate in Accounts Receivable to join its EBO AR team based in Chennai. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are keen to build a career in medical billing and insurance claims management within a global consulting environment. You will be responsible for following up on outstanding insurance claims and ensuring timely resolution while maintaining full compliance with HIPAA and international confidentiality norms. Key Responsibilities - Initiate outbound calls to insurance companies to check the status of pending claims in the billing queue - Contact insurers to obtain clarification on claim denials and underpayments and take appropriate corrective action - Work on denials, rejections, and letters of adjustment to ensure claims are resolved accurately and within deadlines - Document all actions taken in the claims billing summary notes for audit and reporting purposes - Prioritize pending claims from the aging basket for timely follow-up calling - Make physical calls in compliance with international norms, HIPAA regulations, and applicable confidentiality rules - Understand and adhere to the organisation's information security policies to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information assets - Report any information security incidents to the appropriate internal authorities promptly Required Qualifications - Graduate degree in any discipline - Good communication skills in both reading and writing in English - Willingness and availability to work in night shifts - Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite is an added advantage Why Join Us Guidehouse offers a comprehensive total rewards package with competitive compensation and a flexible benefits structure that reflects its commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
