Role Overview Guidehouse is looking for a skilled Senior Associate in Accounts Receivable to join their EBO AR team based in Chennai. This is a full-time opportunity suited for professionals with hands-on experience in US Healthcare AR processes. The role demands strong analytical thinking, clear communication skills, and a thorough understanding of healthcare claims management and HIPAA compliance. Key Responsibilities - Initiate outbound calls to insurance companies to check on claim statuses and obtain clarification on denials and underpayments - Take timely and appropriate action on pending claims to ensure complete resolution within set timelines - Document all claim-related activities accurately in the billing summary notes - Prioritize claims from the aging basket and manage follow-ups in a structured and organised manner - Work on denials, rejections, and letters of adjustment while making necessary corrections to claims - Adhere to international calling norms, HIPAA compliance standards, and organisational information security policies - Report any information security incidents to the relevant internal authorities promptly Required Qualifications - Graduate degree in any discipline - Minimum 2 years of experience in US Healthcare Accounts Receivable - Strong verbal communication skills with a professional telephone demeanour - Excellent analytical and organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively - Sound understanding of healthcare claims processing workflows - Familiarity with MS Office Suite is an added advantage Why Join Us Guidehouse offers a competitive total rewards package along with a flexible benefits structure that reflects its commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
