HR Operations Service Specialist I - Employee Lifecycle Management

Role Overview Hitachi Energy is looking for an HR Operations Service Specialist I to join its Employee Lifecycle Management team, providing support across the NAM and MEA regions. In this office-based, night shift role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end employee lifecycle transactions in Workday, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and a seamless HR service experience for global stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Manage and process employee master data transactions in Workday (HiNext) across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness - Review and validate data submissions from stakeholders for completeness, correctness, and policy compliance - Process data changes including personal details, bank and payment updates, job and organisational changes, supervisory structure updates, and cross-country transfers - Handle employee lifecycle requests through MyHR and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, ensuring efficient service delivery within defined SLAs - Maintain accurate employee records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements - Conduct regular data audits and validations to identify and resolve discrepancies and maintain system integrity - Provide first-level support for Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service queries related to master data and lifecycle processes - Collaborate with HR Business Partners, payroll, COEs, and IT teams to ensure timely resolution of requests - Identify and support opportunities for process improvement, simplification, and automation - Generate reports and perform ad-hoc data analysis to monitor and improve data quality Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in any discipline - 2 to 3 years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or data management roles - Willingness to work night shift hours from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM in an on-site office environment - Prior experience with Workday and ServiceNow is an advantage - Good understanding of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes; experience supporting the US region is preferred - Proficient in MS Office tools with strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage high volumes of work while consistently meeting deadlines Why Join Us Hitachi Energy is a global leader in sustainable energy technology, operating in over 60 countries and trusted by more than three billion people worldwide.
