Role Overview
UPS is looking for a dedicated GBS Preferred Customer Associate to join its Chennai operations team. In this full-time role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for UPS Preferred accounts, delivering a personalised and efficient customer service experience. You will be responsible for owning customer issues from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution through follow-ups and proactive outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one customer service support to UPS Preferred account holders
- Analyse and resolve account-related issues including tracing and claims inquiries
- Make outbound calls and conduct follow-ups to ensure complete resolution of customer concerns
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams such as Billing, Delivery Information, and Operations
- Take full ownership of customer situations and see them through to resolution
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or an internationally recognised equivalent
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability with attention to detail
- Prior customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal departments

Requirements
