Job Description

Role Overview UPS, a Fortune Global 500 company, is looking for a GBS Preferred Customer Associate to join its growing team in Chennai. In this role, you will be the dedicated point of contact for UPS Preferred accounts, delivering personalised customer service and ensuring all issues are resolved efficiently. You will take complete ownership of customer situations from start to finish, including follow-ups and outbound calls as needed. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the primary one-to-one customer service representative for UPS Preferred accounts - Analyse, investigate, and resolve tracing and claims inquiries raised by preferred customers - Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams including Billing, Delivery Information, and Operations - Make proactive outbound calls to ensure full resolution of customer concerns - Maintain detailed ownership and follow-through on all customer interactions until closure Required Qualifications - High school diploma, GED, or an internationally recognised equivalent qualification - Strong oral and written communication skills in English - Solid problem-solving ability with a customer-first mindset - Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal departments Why Join Us At UPS, you will be part of a globally respected organisation that invests in its people and fosters a culture of growth, inclusion, and innovation. Requirements

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Good analytical and problem-solving abilities - Experience in customer service is preferred - Ability to handle customer escalations and follow through to resolution - Comfortable making outbound calls and managing follow-ups
