GBS Preferred Customer Associate

Role Overview UPS, a Fortune Global 500 company, is looking for a GBS Preferred Customer Associate to join its Global Business Services team in Chennai. This role is dedicated to delivering personalised, one-to-one customer service experiences for UPS Preferred accounts. The ideal candidate will take ownership of customer concerns and see every issue through to a successful resolution. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal departments including Billing, Delivery Information, and Operations - Analyse and resolve issues specific to Preferred accounts in a timely and efficient manner - Handle tracing and claims inquiries and provide accurate solutions to customers - Follow up on open cases and make outbound calls to ensure complete customer satisfaction - Maintain full ownership of customer situations from the first point of contact through final resolution Required Qualifications - High school diploma, GED, or an internationally recognised equivalent qualification - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English - Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical thinking - Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory Why Join Us At UPS, you will be part of a globally recognised organisation that fosters innovation, teamwork, and continuous professional growth.
