Food and Beverage Service Associate

Role Overview Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, part of the globally renowned Marriott International portfolio, is looking for a dedicated Food and Beverage Service Associate to join their team at the Chennai ECR property. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest service. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations across food and beverage service areas while upholding the brand's high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. Key Responsibilities - Complete all closing duties including storing reusable goods, cleaning equipment and work areas, restocking items, and securing refrigerators and premises at the end of each shift - Set up, stock, and maintain food and beverage service stations throughout the day - Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all crockery, glassware, and silverware before use - Follow all company safety and security policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager, and complete required safety training - Welcome and acknowledge guests professionally in line with Sheraton brand standards - Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance at all times - Collaborate with team members to meet shared service goals and respond appropriately to colleague concerns - Perform physical tasks including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds and working across different areas of the property Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent qualification - No prior work experience required, making this ideal for freshers entering the hospitality industry - No supervisory experience necessary - Strong communication skills and a professional, guest-first attitude - Ability to stand, walk, or remain active throughout an entire work shift - Physical ability to bend, reach, lift, and maneuver across different surfaces and levels Why Join Us At Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, you become part of a global community that has been welcoming guests and creating meaningful connections since 1937.
